Cardamom & Apple Breakfast Bars

The best toddler snack or quick mommy breakfast on the go!

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter… sometimes I add a little more
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup of coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup honey, agave or maple syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1.5 cups of gluten free oats
  • 1 cup gluten free flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1.5 cup chopped apples
  • 1-3 drops of doTERRA cardamom oil**

***add 1/2 a cup of dried fruit/nuts or grated carrot if you desire

Instructions:

Combine the first 6 ingredients and mix well. Add remaining ingredients and stir until combined. Spoon into a greased 9×9 pan and bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes

**Not all essential oils are safe for ingestion. doTERRA is approved for ingestion by Health Canada.
